ABOUT AN TRANSFORMATION

I have created this approach because I understand and get frustrated that most people solely focus on the exercise part of a plan which we know is only a small part of leading a healthier lifestyle. I believe that success is achieved by covering several aspects including nutritional guidance and believe giving people the knowledge to succeed on their own is a key part of the process.

I understand that people have different amounts of time available to commit and also, that some people do not have access to a gym, this is why depending on the person we will build a realistic and achievable plan whether that be using gym equipment or building a plan of exercises that can be done at home with little/no gym equipment.

Going into a gym can be intimidating and uncomfortable for some people, that is why I have a private facility for the consultations and training sessions so that you can feel comfortable in the environment and get the best out of the sessions without having to worry about other people in the gym or waiting for equipment.

I have a purpose-built training facility which will be used for the sessions so that you have a private, dedicated space to use for your training sessions. Weather permitted and based on your preference; we can also include some exercises outside but still in the private setting.

Normally Personal Trainers focus solely on the workout, however, there are many components to living a healthier lifestyle apart from exercise, that is why each session is not just the exercise but also has additional allocated time to talk specifically about nutrition and lifestyle habits.

I am certified in nutrition and can give advice and support on building a healthy nutrition plan to support your goals.

15-25 minutes Consultation

  • Review of the diet diary
  • Take measurements
  • Discuss progress/adaptations on plan.
  • Discuss any challenges

50-60 minutes – Client focused training session

Based on your specific goals and how you enjoy to train – this is key (you will only stick to something you enjoy). I will build a plan specific to you so that it is sustainable and enjoyable. Depending on the persons access to their own training facilities/equipment to do their own workouts I will build a plan and complete exercises that they can do outside of the sessions on their own.

For sessions that you complete on your own we will build them based on what equipment you have available which can be either at home workouts or in a gym.

Most people think that you have to eat a very strict diet with no flexibility to achieve goals, I know by making small changes with knowledge you can still make good progress while allowing some flexibility when needed.

As certified in nutrition I will ask you to complete a food diary on the app/website where we can together review and discuss any progress or adaptations that can be made to make the progress more successful. I don’t want to prescribe a rigid plan (unless requested specifically) but more to educate on healthy choices so that you can make informed decisions in your day-to-day life with the knowledge we will give you.

Most people don’t understand that reaching your goals also depends on other factors that are not related to just exercise and nutrition, this is why I will also discuss lifestyle changes. These are often small changes that form habits that can have a large impact on your progress. This will cover aspects like:

  • Sleep habits
  • Alcohol Consumption
  • Water Intake
  • Non-exercise related activities
  • Smoking
  • Stress Levels

A big reason people do not succeed/progress with their goals is due to having no accountability for achieving these, I provide support throughout the process during the sessions and also via WhatsApp/Calls if there is a specific issue to discuss between sessions to ensure you get all of the support you need. I hold myself as accountable for you reaching your goals as you.

Most people focus solely on the weight of a measure of success, however, there are many other factors that should be used to measure progress depending on the specific goals and person. I will not only measure weight but other measurements to get a true reflection of the progress made to get a true picture of progress specific to you. Using state of the art body analysis scanning we can get a full picture of what your body is doing insides and not just focus on the outside.

All Clients will also have access to the Android or Apple IOS Client App or website login which will have all information to track and follow their non in person training sessions including videos for each exercise, log food in their food diary, upload progress photos and mark off their habits in the app to hold them accountable and all data will be available for their coach to review instantly. Clients will also be able to login via this website if they prefer that method instead of using the Client mobile app.

Their is also a variety of levels of food diaries available anywhere from simply typing or adding a photo of the food all the way to syncing with MyFitness Pal to log all the way to macro level depending on your preference.

We do also provide an online coaching only programme which does not include any in person training sessions which is available to clients that are not local to our facility to conduct in person training, included in this service are:

  • Access to Android or IOS mobile app for Clients and also login via Website if preferred.
  • Workouts – Workout sessions will be created in line with your programme and pushed to the Client app with guidance videos for each exercise.
  • Habits – Habits will be added to the app in line with your goals for you to mark off as you complete each daily habit.
  • Food Diary – You will complete a simple food diary each day (more detailed tracking features are available if needed ie Macros) for us to review and comment with suggestions/feedback on each meal.
  • Progress Tracking – You will be able to log your weight & measurements within the app to show progress and for your coach to review.
  • In App Messaging – You will be able to message your coach directly via the Client app for any advise/guidance you may need at any point.
  • Ability to login via this website if they prefer that method to using the mobile Client app.
  • Weekly check in calls via Whatsapp/Call.
